Where Credit Unions, CUSOs, and Service Providers Collaborate for Mutual Growth
COLLABORATION CENTRAL
IF YOU ARE A CREDIT UNION
If you are a Credit Union with members who own or operate a business that is engaged in any of the professions or services listed above, please consider collaborating with your member to form a Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO). A for-profit subsidiary that can be wholly or partially owned by the Credit Union, a CUSO can create growth opportunities by providing non-credit union services to your current and prospective members while generating additional revenue. The simple process is outlined in NCUA Regulation 712 which you can access here. Contact us with any questions.
We can also help by creating press releases or publishing white papers that promote your Credit Union. Employee promotions, milestones, new hires, your products and services, CUSOs, community events, and other newsworthy events can be shared with the Industry and your Community alike.
Your Credit Union should also consider joining the National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations - the trade association that since 1985 has been the networking, educational and collaboration think-tank and go-to help center for Credit Unions, CUSOs, and vendors.
